Munster v All Blacks
Rugby Union from Thomond Park
Wednesday, 19th November 2008
Radio Telefís Éireann (RTÉ)
A friendly match, which the All Blacks graciously included on their Autumn Tour to help celebrate the opening of the re-furbished and enlarged Thomond Park in Limerick.
The match also commemorates the game 30 years ago in 1978 when Munster famously became the only Irish club side to ever beat the All Blacks.
Whether you're a supporter of either of these two sides, or just of exciting rugby in general, this match was special. The pre-game has been much talked about and has some genuinely spine-tingling moments. And the match itself is everything you would want from a rugby match.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I have.
