Marlo Thomas tells Rachael about the Thanks and Giving Campaign to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "We put this campaign together because it's a time of year when we're all feeling really good and we're decorating our houses and singing songs, and there are families right now who are fighting for their kid's lives. So we ask the public to give thanks for the healthy kids in your life and to give to those who are not."
Anne Hathaway explains how she got involved with Marlo and St. Jude's. "I work with a charity called the Lollipop Theater campaign," she says. "We bring children's films to children's hospitals and they asked if I wanted to go to St. Jude's. I went and it felt like a really good fit, so I basically said, 'Anything you guys need, I'm here.' I've done a lot of children's movies so there's always stuff to bring, but I brought The Devil Wears Prada and we had a special teen screening!"
While she definitely has a giving side, Anne admits that she had sneaky motives when it came to audition for her latest movie, Get Smart. "The only reason I tried out for it was because I wanted to meet Steve Carell!" she says. "He takes his job very, very seriously. It took us a couple of weeks before he started making fun of me but as soon as he did I knew he liked me!"
