Disc 1 from the BMG Special Products boxset released in 2002. This boxset was issued in a LIMITED RUN & has since been LONG OUT-OF-PRINT with no plans for a re-release. Luckily i purchased my set when it came out, not knowing it was going out as quickly as it was released. Downside is online venders & E-Bay sellers are price-gouging fans well over $300-$500 for the boxset that retailed for $79. Save your money--and enjoy the show!

Synopsis:

One of the most HIGHLY acclaimed series on TV from 1994-1995, MY SO CALLED LIFE pioneered the modern teen drama and introduced the world to a then 15-year-old Claire Danes. MSCL centered around the daily life of high schooler Angela Chase, focusiing on her daily interactions from school friends to extended family. The writing was superb as it gave the story from as seen thru Angela's point of view, often times her narration would either introduce or end a scene.

Produced by the creators of THIRTYSOMETHING, the show won rave reviews from critics everywhere, citing it's realism of teen angst & the pressures teens face nowadays. Claire Danes even won a Golden Globe award (& Emmy nominee) for her portrayal of Angela Chase. Even with all the accolades ABC pulled the p[lug on the show after 19 episodes. Shortly after, MTV ran the show in heavy rotation, resulting in high ratings along with a newfound audience.

ISO Image from DVD-R recoded via Nero Digital--DVD artwork & inserts provided. MDS file is only needed if you are using a Windows operating system that is NOT XP (98, ME, etc).
