The inner sleeve of the EP carries this definition before listing the four stand-out tracks we have all been waiting for.
The Natural started in Chicago, IL after the dissolution of a previous band, Here Comes the Neighborhood. While HCTN was a myriad of powerpop and pop-punk influences, The Natural took on a more mature view of music with their still pop-oriented but ultimately better crafted indie rock.
Made up by guitarists/vocalists Joe Olson and Dustin Eck, keyboardist/vocalist Stephen Schmidt, bassist Victor Rodriguez, and drummer/vocalist Will Wisniewski, these boys have proven that it doesn’t take technical mayhem or guttural growls to make it in the scene. To the Natural, beautiful riffs, passionate lyrics, and honest songwriting will do.
With the release of their first EP, Holistics, our friends in the Natural have both lived up to and exceeded our high expectations. However, with each and every day, every show played, and every fan pleased, they keep aiming higher and higher
