Debut album from London indie rockers whose epic sound is comparable to Arcade Fire and the late, lamented Hope Of The States. Chiming post-rock guitars collide with vast sheets of distortion and string arrangements, minor-key melodies dominate and a Midwestern drawl delivers dark tales of cynicism and longing.
