A Looniversite du Pays ACME, Babs et Buster Bunny (aucun lien de parente) sont deux jeunes toons qui font de leur mieux pour etudier et devenir de vraies legendes de cartoons comme leurs aines Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig et Daffy Duck. Mais le chemin de la gloire est long et seme d'embuches, et ils devront faire leurs preuves face a des situations cocasses au fil des episodes. L'inenarrable Plucky Duck et son souffre-douleur Hamton les accompagnent, ainsi que Shirley La Loon, l'arrogant Montana Max, Fifi la mouffette, P'tit Minet et la terrible Elmira... Reprenant le concept des Looney Tunes avec une touche moderne, Les Tiny Toons est la premiere collaboration entre Steven Spielberg et le studio Warner Bros. Animation en pleine renaissance.
