Im letzten halben Jahr hat es schon einige Biggie Tribute u.. Releases gegeben,
in die Reihe der besser Mixtapes reiht sich jetzt das Tribute Tape von Cookin Soul und DJ Drama
ein, es bleibt zu hoffen, dass das ganze nicht langsam Pacsche Ausmae annimmt.Das Konzept hinter
dem Tribute Tape ist schnell erklrt. Cookin Soul haben aus, in original Notorious B.I.G. Tracks
verwendeten, Samples neue Beats gemacht und verschiedenste Rapper drber rappen lassen. Mit dabei
sind Urgesteine wie C.L. Smooth, interessanterweise mit einer Collab mit dem Newcomer Skyzoo und
weitere bekanntere und weniger bekanntere Artists wie Styles P., Tek (von Smif-n-Wessun), Jean Grae,
LA the Darkman & Willie the Kid, Emilio Rojas und noch einige mehr. Die Beats sind auch durchaus wieder
zuerkennen, wie das von Styles P performte und leider etwas kurze Kick in the Door beweit.
