INSTALL SECTION

1) I recommend to uninstall previous versions of TC UP and to do a backup of your settings.
Don't worry, if you forget to save and backup old settings the installer remembers this to you.
2) Execute 'tcup40.exe' and follow instructions.
3) Copy 'wincmd.key' to install dir.
4) You're done.


CHANGES SECTION

2008-07-25

Another Total Commander Ultima Prime release give installer code changes which are expected for a long time.
Users can define files extensions associations for internal programs according to existing schemes: None - perfect for portable installation,
Default - the best TC UP integration with operating system, Custom - with possibility of complete control on assignments.
Please be aware that these settings will change existing files associations in operating system.
Our project gained excellent application called Unlocker. With a help of this tool it is possible to delete files locked by Windows.
Some tools bundled with AIMP player (Advanced Tag Editor, Audio Converter, Audio Recorder) became available under "Tools" menu.
"Thumbnails view" mode presents now additional information about files and shows properly images not handled by WLX plugins.
Some applications have been updated to the newest versions. All known bugs have been fixed.

2008-06-25

In the newest version we provide additional predefined "For commercial use" installation mode for the users who would like to use our project in commercial environment. Every application with licence restricted for personal use only will be deselected from installation.
TC UP has been extended by another great tool called Docx2Rtf which allows to view and convert different documents formats (i.e. Word 2007 files).
According to users requirements we have added HFS - HTTP file server application.
TC UP can now handle opening external storage devices (CD/DVD discs, memory cards, etc.) by its own.
Various plugins has been updated to the newest versions.
MSIE Cache Browser filesystem plugin has been included, which give the possibility to manage Internet Explorer's internal cache.
The core of our project - Total Commander has been updated to the recent release (7.03).
Some other applications (Artweaver 0.5.1, IcoFx 1.6, InfraRecorder 0.45.0.0, Opera@USB 9.27, System Info for Windows Build 2008-04-02, WinMerge 2.8.0.0) has been upgraded also.
Thanks to the translators work TC UP gained Ukrainian language interface.
All reported and known bugs has been corrected.
