Beit Nun is a 23 year old MC based in Macclesfield, UK. Most commonly known for his honest, thought-provoking lyrics, and his raw, gritty and uncompromised delivery, he is without doubt making a name for himself in the dark depths of what is the UK Hip-Hop scene, having performed throughout the North of England, aswell as his work alongside some of the most exciting up and coming artists in the genre. With 2 previous releases already under his belt, Beit Nun is back on his best material to date, and as open as ever as he once again lets the listener deep into his wandering mind.

IllSkilz is a very promising up and coming Dutch producer, and is fastly making waves in Holland with his instantly recogniseable sound. Presenting himself for the first time on record after years of honing his skills, he is certain to invoke a reaction with his delicate crafting of both chopped samples and original compositions that wouldn’t be out of place on any early 90’s West Coast Hip-Hop record, creating music easy to digest for even the narrowest of musical minds.

Having bridged the North Sea, Beit Nun and IllSkilz meet halfway, in this unspoiled collaboration of ideas, emotion and sound, creating a project that is upmost refreshing, yet exceeedingly complimentary in both style and direction...

At 23 minutes long, and 9 tracks deep, Colours is a brief look at the world through the eyes of a man who for the first time, feels both content and complete. Beit Nun reveals all to the listener, as he describes his new-found happiness through love, friendship, purpose, ambition and destiny. This refreshingly positive extended player certainly owes itself to the distinctive production talents of IllSkilz who debuts himself on this release, and undeniably makes himself known, with his consistant, yet unpredictable soulful mix of samples and compositions, drifting under a barrage of heavy hitting drums and daring synths.


Colours is a bright and spacious release, and without question lives upto its somewhat apt title.
