This election is more important than ever. All of the candidates are offering what they
believe to be the right fixes and changes that America needs. There are differences
between the candidates; in some cases, major differences, which is why choosing the right
person is so important. Don't get bogged down in some of the bullshit going around; don't
listen to e-mail rumors of a person's religion or political views. If you hear someone say
something about a particular candidate, don't simply believe it, do your own research to find
the truth. Don't get distracted by things that don't matter. The stakes are high, the
issues are important. Vote for who you believe will best run the country and fix the
problems we are facing.

Do your own research. You are on the internet, one of the greatest sources of knowledge
available. Don't believe the bullshit some people are spewing. Please, do your own research.

Look, I'm not going to tell you who you should vote for. I've made my decision by doing
research, by listening to what the candidates have to say, by deciding which candidate best
fits my political views. I didn't follow my gut; I didn't simply go along with what
candidate seemed to be the most popular, or seemed to pander to me the best. I didn't
choose a candidate based on a single issue but rather I looked at the candidates entire
platform and made my decision. I would hope that you would do the same.

Remember, election day is November 4th, and the deadline to register to vote is quickly
approaching; around October 15th in many states. Decide who you support, and vote for
them. I'm not going to tell you who to vote for; I don't care if you are voting for
Obama/Biden, or McCain/Palin, or Nader/Gonzalez, or Barr/Root; just please, vote.
