Ouch, this is some hardcore shiz right here. I have always had a soft spot for Miss Kittin & The Hacker. The Champagne EP, released back in '98 on Gigolo affirmed my burgeoning tastes for the european electro sound at a time when it really was an underground phenomenon.

Anyway that was over a decade ago. Times have changed and it looks like Miss Kittin has managed to develop her sound whilst remaining true to the original ethos. In fact one might say that maturity has helped her to produce a more polished sound.

The album is a homage to electro and techno and goes very industrial in places like on 'Pppo' and 'Emotional Interlude'. There's some more accessible stuff too like 'Party In My Head' which references the shit out of the past masters and pioneers of the genre.

Fun elements like the cover version of the Elvis song 'Suspicious Minds' really spin this album up a gear. They really put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this project and it's paid off big time.
