1. Guardian Angel
3. Ice Cube
4. Feel the Universe
This second album manages to top Transmissions, which was a solid debut from Juno Reactor. They begin experimenting with different sounds, making very unique songs, like 'Samurai', for example, which (obviously) sounds very Japanese oriented. Just so you know, if you are interested in buying this, buy the American version. It contains an extra track, 'Razorback', which is their first attempt at african/jungle/nature music. It is a SOLID track that you should not miss out on. Anyway, 'Guardian Angel' simply builds and builds, rocking like crazy for a solid 8 minutes. This is a perfect example of Juno Reactor's "rock" phase, where they made much faster and rock sounding music. 'Magnetic' starts with smooth as silk ambience, and gets into cool synths. 'Ice Cube' is simply stunning from beginning to end. If a movie needed a song for a villain, this would be it. 'Feel the Universe' starts into loud and fast trance, and then (American only) Razorback thumps you into the jungle with HUGE kick drums. 'Samurai' makes you feel like you're watching a fight between... well, Samurai! 'Silver' gets into slower, more Indian sounding tones. 'Rotorblade' is another rock track, and it is the only mediocre track on the album. 'Mars' finishes it off with pumping trance into a really cool sounding ambient ending.
This album is simply amazing, and even though it's from 1996, it still beats many modern albums hands down.
