The above productions have been plucked from a 4 track digital release.
For those who may be unaware, the Defected label is a long standing and respectable outlet specialising mostly in the fields of disco house, deep house, club house, and some flavours of garage since 1999.
The original production upon which these remixes are based is certainly not new, having been initially released in 2001, being a wonderful uptempo disco house number that I still enjoy and greatly appreciate.
The artist of this title is also named, and can be referenced as "G Club Presents Banda Sonora", but that's not the proper way to scrobble your music on last.fm now is it..?
The Warren Clarke remix (not included here) is also very decent, and was also released in 2001, along with the Afterlife Remix too, which until now has not been available digitally. Like his previous remix of Eric Prydz's Pjanoo that you've all been enjoying, it's an excellent atmospheric / progressive breaks number that will last you forever and a day.
The Funkagenda is brand new, and our respectable friend has done very well to maintain the essence and warmth of the original whilst being able to express his own slightly more extended and faster paced interpretation.
