After 20 years behind the decks Danny Rampling has decided to hang up his head phones and explore pastures new.

Along with DJs like Paul Oakenfold and Nicky Holloway, Danny Ramplingwas instrumental in bringing the Balearic sound back to the UK in the1980s.

He founded the legendary Shoom club with wife Jenny in 1988, beganbraodcasting his Radio 1 show The Love Groove Dance Party in 1994 andreceived Muzik magazine's Outstanding Contribution To Dance Music awardin 1998.
