After a long awaited absence from the scene
Eastside Records is back. Label frontman A
Sides has been locked away in the studio
stock piling tracks. It's now time to let off
with this double header. Planetary Motion is
pure futuristic funk setting things off with
a half beat intro that builds into a neat
drum and bass workout. Analogue style bass
get wrapped around deep subs, crisp beats,
dubbed out vocals and minimal percussion all
creating a soulful groove. Memory Lane takes
us back to how things used to be back in the
day. it's simple but effective. A Sides takes
elements of disco, rare groove and r & b and
moulds them on top of solid 2 step beats to
nice effect. Both sides of the release have
been championed by Dj's Marky, Fabio,
Friction, LTJ Bukem plus many more. Next up:
