I am almost loathed to file this under Country as much as I love the genre. I hate all that "murder on music row" snobbery. Billy Ray Cyrus could just have easily made it as a singer in a Southern Rock band like Molly Hatchet. I rate him very highly and feel he has been unfairly vilified over the years. (I don't see anything wrong with his "millstone" Achy Breaky hit either.) The Nineties threw up some of the best country music ever produced in my opinion especially with the female artists. They actually made it SEXY to outsiders instead of an incestuous tradition unable to embrace any new blood.
Anyway, here it is ... a fantastic concert by the man himself recorded in Sunderland, England by the BBC in 1997.
Remember, if your music ain't torrented ... it probably sucks!
