This Album is a collection of some of the epic tracks recorded and released by the legendary China Records. The tracks span various genres of music as well as several decades of time, the only common theme is the China Records link so it's a bit of a mixed bad of music styles that wouldn't normally be found on one disk.
Ironically this CD was released in 1993 by Sony Music Entertainment Incorporated who are now the proud owners of the rights to the China label which is why I consider this to be more of an epitaph rather than the tribute that it's touted as on the cover. For me this is emphasised by the biographical nature of the internal booklet and the proverb 'Only dead fish swim with the current' which appears in the literature more than once. This Malcolm Muggeridge quote is however ambiguous without a context so maybe I'm reading too much into this......
I apologise for the general lack of info on this upload, tried all the usual sources for some more info about it but came up completely blank. If you have any further info on this album please PM Badog at Darksiderg.com, I have long been intrigued by this CD and would be very interested to learn more about it.
