This is one of most famous and controversial productions of 'Tristan und Isolde' at the Bayreuth Festival in 1983.

Jean-Pierre Ponnelle's celebrated Bayreuth production filmed on the Festspielhaus stages with six cameras and in digital sound to recreate the unique intensity of a live performance in studio quality.
