Friendly baroque compositions by one of Bach's main pupils who is mostly known today for his organ music. He's the one about whom Bach said he is "the only crab (= Krebs) in my stream (= Bach)". As mentioned in the booklet, there is a strange mixture of adherence by Krebs to sometimes the old and sometimes the new musical style.
