A couple of years ago i bought the CD The Lost Paris Tapes on which the poetrysession of Jim Morrison is.
I always have found that this session was so mature and powerful!
I listened so many times to it that i could almost dream the words.
Then suddenly there was this track on the American Prayer album with the rest of the band playing in a studio,
looking at a big videoscreen with Jim on it (parts of HWY) and it made me so sad.
I thought Jim would like to get a little more respect for his spoken poetry.
I decided to search some music that could form a base for new songs out of the poetrysession Jim did.
It took me years and it was as if any piece of music failed in my opinion.
Even on most of the already existing doors-mixes i took from open sources on the internet, mixes with dance, new wave, rock and popsongs
there wasn't what I was looking for.
I simply found that the music was killing the ambiance of the original tape: Jim in a studio with a piano.
As soon as i realized that it was Jim himself that picked the piano as his instrument i went on searching for exiting but serious pianomusic.
I downloaded about 250 classical audiotracks only involving piano play and had about 1 year of listening and judging to make a selection.
It was a big puzzle to fit all the words Jim read into the music and sometimes i had to start all over again with a different line.
But after a while new songs came to the surface and began to take shape more and more.
And here we are,today.
Today is your lucky day because you downloaded the right thing!
What you hold in your hands is a two-disc set of spoken word by Jim Morrison on classic tunes.
The Lords and The New Creatures contain 22 tracks including a bonustrack on The Lords.
Artwork for both CDs is included, very high resolution pictures of 75 Mb each, also created by me.
There's no bullshit info on the back of the cd because i'm not into commercial nonsense.
There's only the info you need, as you look at a piece of art.
Most of the tracks on the two discs are made with high quality wave-files and some of them are made with 320kbps mp3-files.
The disc containing the poetrysession by Jim Morrison is of very good quality.
All the finished tracks were converted to flac-files, ready to roam on the internet.
The songs on these discs have very silent and soft moments as they are classical pieces.
Therefore i suggest that you wear earphones when you are listening to them.
It's also best to do this in a calm environment so that you can have the full experience.
I hope that whoever you are, you will enjoy listening to these CDs.
These CDs are not for sale and if you decide otherwise i can only say; your punishment will come one day...
Ofcourse you are free to share this.
