I call your attention to this grandiose performance of Bruckner Symphony No.8.
For me Karajan is interesting mostly in his early and very late periods of work, and this recording is the pearl not only of his early years, but of all his century.
By unknow circumstances the firs movement (Allegro moderato) of the Symphony is absent. This is a bereavement for this great performance.
