Metal-Legions proudly pesents:
2009 Demo [V0]
The Rejects met at P.S. 99 in Kew Gardens, a small town in Queens, New York. Sharing similar tastes in music, and having known each other since kindergarten, Ian Keller and Alex Hernandez founded The Rejects in 2000, then calling themselves Graffiti. In 2001, Sam Allen joined the band as a bassist and The Rejects were born. They have successfully stayed together ever since and have only made improvements. Later on, Evelyn Chin joined the band as a guitarist/keyboardist to give The Rejects a fuller sound for their upcoming show at Knitting Factory (they stole first place without ever knowing it was a battle of the bands!). The rest of the band decided to keep Evelyn as a permanent addition to the group and all have been working harder than ever since then. However, The Rejects are not your typical alternative-rock band, thanks to a broad horizon of influences. Many have gone from comparing the band to Radiohead all the way to the likes of Nirvana. The Rejects stand for freedom, imperfection, sunsets, dazes, moods, sarcasm, and everything and anything you want them to be. In short-The Rejects stand for every person who feels connected to anything. If you are looking for something deep, meaningful, and genuine, look no further: This is rock n' roll deep, raw, uncontrolled, and untamed. If this is true, then The Rejects are the moodiest of bands.Read More...
