Released in early 2009, \"Yellow Ball, Glass Wall\" is The Barcode Experiment\'s first official album release. It has been heralded by Seattle promoters as “an overdue conflagration of a post post-rock music scene,” combining soft melody and a healthy dose of Noise-Rock with an Indie sentimentality.
The tracks “Phucking Phantastic” and “Arrakis” were promoted on a 7’’ single release in late 2008.
The Barcode Experiment is the alias of musician Alek Akers. Born and raised in southeast Texas, at the age of eleven he relocated just north of Seattle where he now resides.
