Great Band from the Toronto Area (I believe.... saw them perform there) hard to peg but definitely influenced by country blues r&b some celtic instrumentation but not characteristically celtic styling. Lead man plays many instruments including the bagpipes..very well I might add. The liner notes show that Grier Coppins is the composer and singer and producer.
If I were to draw some comparisons I would say artists like Van Morrison, Ray Davies, The Pogues Hank Williams.. all are vaguely reflected in their sound. But definitely unique enough to have there own trademark sound. You can tell they enjoy themselves and love playing together. Highy recommended.
