Torrent description
I have been a huge fan of theirs for years and own most of their "output", but if I could only have one 'Lab album this would be it. This set contains almost all of the tracks recorded for BBC Radio 1 from 1991-2001, and is a good representation of their distinctive sound. I think many of the songs on here are just plain better than the album versions, whether better recorded/engineered (Super-Electric, Changer), or better arranged (Heavenly Van Halen <Pinball>). The version of Les Yper Sound is simply mind altering! On one of the sessions, Latitia sounds like she has a bad cold and the tracks sound a little awkward (Lo Boob Oscillator, Untitled <Check and Double Check>), but the majority are astoundingly tight and well balanced. Hope you enjoy it.
