Let? hope that all the hyperbole that has been spouted about them doesn?
tarnish what could become a very sweet little music making machine. Joe Van
Moyland used to be drummer with the Pipettes (a band who were feted to the same
degree of anticipatory adulation in 2006) and he? also held a job down in the
BBC drama the Tudors. And we all know there is a long hall of shame associated
with actors who think the music industry is for them but this time it looks like
things may just work out. His band the Jing Jang Jong? should make for some
interesting if slightly wordy t-shirts but that never put the Trail of Dead off
I suppose. ?onely Buoy?will have the C86 and jangle pop connoisseurs in
raptures as it a rattles through a plethora of influences while opening up a
whole world of new ones. Slick doesn? get much more loveable than this.
