David Sylvian - In Praise Of Shaman Tour 1988 recorded Hammersmith Odeon, London 30th May.
This is an excellent soundboard recording from the above concert and is probably the best Sylvian bootleg recording you'll ever get.
Recorded on the 30th of May; 1988 at the then Hammersmith Odeon, this is an extremely lengthy two disk bootleg
which is essential for all Sylvian and Japan fans. Thankfully the audio quality is fantastic and does the
delicate and complex soundscapes full justice and it’s to be noted that this recording sometimes trades under
the moniker of Ancient Evening. As well as some of the earlier stuff, there’s plenty from the classic Gone To Earth
and Brilliant Tree’s period as well as the band introduction being included in this essential and relaxed album.
Before The Bullfight
Taking The Veil
The Boy With The Gun
The Grand Parade (Mark Isham from the album Castalia)
The Ink In The Well
Let The Happiness In
Gone To Earth
