Elephants Dream is the story of two strange characters exploring a capricious and seemingly infinite machine. The elder, Proog, acts as a tour-guide and protector, happily showing off the sights and dangers of the machine to his initially curious but increasingly skeptical protege Emo.

Elephants Dream is the world’s first open movie, made entirely with open source graphics software such as 'Blender' (www.blender.org), and with all production files freely available to use however you please, under a Creative Commons license (www.creativecommons.org).

The short 11 minute film was created by the 'Orange Open Movie Project' studio in Amsterdam during 2005/2006, bringing together a diverse team of artists and developers from all over the world.
