Rippers Notes........: This was done with CloneDVD2 from a DVD9 a while ago,
sorry for not retaining the bit rate information but
it was quite a while ago. I can tell you that it is
definitely watchable though and it was not compressed
too much. Let me know if I left anything out since it
has been a while since I have done this.

SUMMARY

In war-torn Japan, the Tokugawa Shogun, desperate to restore peace to his
people, orders the assassination of the hostile warlords. A beautiful young
woman is raised from birth with nine other orphans, to become an assassin.
Her name is AZUMI, the ultimate assassin.

Japan..... Ten orphans in 19th century Japan are raised in idyllic isolation
by a war-weary warrior, who trains them to be killing machines, and then lose
their innocence when their mission is thrust upon them: they are assassins in
the service of peace. Ryuhei Kitamura directs the samurai action fantasy with
flashy style, creating dazzling battle scenes and tossing in oddball villains
(among them a deadly Monkey Ninja and a sadistic sociopath dolled up like a
killer geisha) for spectacle. Aya Ueto stars as Azumi, the deadliest of the
teen killers.

Sorry it took a lil while for me to upload the first Azumi film, but I wanted
to get the best version... So here`s the Directors Cut with fully working
menus, unstripped, untouched with all the original trimmings..
Unfortunately the downside is that I opted for this re-encoded DVD5 release.
This was due to the fact that not only does this have the full runtime, but I
have seen three other versions of this film and two of those were virtually
unburnable... Dont be put off by the word Re-Encode... Its Excellent Quality
and I Have this exact same copy in my collection and I am very pleased with it.
