Torrent description
Cowboy und Vietnamveteran Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) entdeckt bei der Jagd in Texas die Überreste eines fehlgeschlagenen Drogendeals: Er findet mehrere tote Mexikaner, kiloweise Heroin und 2 Millionen Dollar in bar. Moss flüchtet mit dem Geld, das er für sich und seine Frau Carla (Kelly MacDonald) will. Fortan jagen ihn der Ex-Elitesoldat Wells (Woody Harrelson) und der Killer Chigurh (Javier Bardem). Nur der alternde Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) hilft.
Knochentrocken verfilmen die Coen-Brüder einen Roman des für seinen ungeschönten Verismus bekannten Cormac McCarthy ("Die Straße". Mit der lakonischen Menschenhatz kehren die Coens zu der Stärke ihrer früheren Meisterwerke "Fargo" und "Miller's Crossing" zurück.
