Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume (lit. planetarian ~The Reverie of a Little Planet~), is a Japanese post-apocalyptic visual novel centering around a middle-aged man who comes across a malfunctioning robot in a dead city. The man, known simply as "the junker", stays with this robot for a time and attempts to fix the projector of the planetarium where the story takes place.

To play Japanese ones: just install the version you prefer and play.
To play English: first install unvoiced Japanese version. Then install English
patch (don't forget to pick the same place where Japanese version resides,
AFAIK by default it tries to install somewhere else). Now you have unvoiced
English version. To convert it to voiced one, mount "Planetarian (voiced).iso"
image and copy "KOE" directory to the "KINETICDATA". You'll find KINETICDATA
dir inside the directory you've installed Planetarian to. Now you'll be able to
Note that the very first part of Planetarian is voiced even in the "unvoiced"
version. If you have problems/freezes in the game, DON'T FORGET THAT YOUR
LOCALE SETTINGS NEEDS TO BE SET TO JAPANESE! Yes, even for playing English
version. And no, don't try Applocale or agth tricks, they won't work.
If you have problems even in Japanese locale, install included
sazanami-gothic.ttf font (by copying it to Windows/Fonts dir)
I included Planetarian OST and savefiles just for the sake of completeness; I
can't imagine why would somebody want to use these saves. Go read this novel
