Ein brutaler Serienkiller geht um in einer kleinen koreanischen Gemeinde. Im Monatsabstand wurde jeweils eine Frauenleiche an prominenter Stelle in Kreuzform aufgehngt. Der Polizist Jea-shin tritt mit seinen Ermittlungen auf der Stelle und so kontaktiert er seinen Freund den Autor Kyung-fu der schon seit Wochen ber die Mordserie rescherschiert, um diese als Grundlage fr sein neues Buch zu nehmen. Als die Ermittlungen parallelen zu einem Fall von vor 10 Jahren aufwerfen wird alles noch einmal von vorne aufgerollt und pltzlich scheint nichts mehr so zu sein wie man es gedacht hatte
