OK so I am a geek and proud, I also do/did a lot of work for a game which went

Did you play Command and Conquer: Red Alert? If you did this is certainly for you,
Red Alert in a first person shooter.
The game is based upon a vastly improved W3D engine (Command and Conquer: Renegade)
with higher poly count models (that just means more detailed tanks and stuff).
