"Bill Sherman is half a man. His career is failing. He lives in his brother's garage and spends most of his days babysitting his brother's three children. When pressured into a speed dating event, Bill meets Amy, and to many sparks. He learns quickly, however, that Amy is not one person, but two: The inseparable Amy and Janine. These two women design to date Bill in tandem, both to his confusion and enjoyment. Where Amy seems to hold Bill dear to her heart and mind, Janine seems unable to function in any means outside of physical pleasure. Each woman uses a specific role to handle one portion of their dating system. While Bill is quite pleased with this arrangement, there may be much more to Amy and Janine than he realizes. The two women also happen to be the separate heads of an amphisbaena, an ancient and giant, black snake. One head enchants and the other is the poisonous, deadly alpha. Having abandoned their original form to learn humanity, will these two new women be able to overcome their natural urge to kill and eat men, as has been their nature for millennia, in order to truly love? Can Bill survive their odd arrangements and dating protocol long enough to believe love exists, and if so, achieve such a thing with the murderous, two-headed serpent?
