This is the latest in the dancing stage games and is more like a game than any of the other titles. It has a section called "dance master mode" where you dance to earn points which you then spend in the 'shop' to buy songs, characters and information to be used in the freeplay game mode. Within dance master mode the game sets targets for you to pass in order to move on.
If you are an expert or dancing at difficult already you may find this game a little tedious to start with as the dance master mode starts at beginner, however you can soon progress into standard and beyond.
Dancing stage MAX has all the features of fusion 'EDIT' to make your own steps and ADVANCED mode along with WORKOUT, and LESSONS.
