Torrent description

Chess - Chess Informants 1-100 (complete games in the right sequence)

Hi folks,

I was wondering if the original CBV or PGN file from Chess Informants 1-100 CD, which can be purchased at www.sahovski.com, was already floating around. Since I\'m not sure, I downloaded a reliable CI1-97 database from eMule and added numbers 98-100 in the excellent conversions made by filchess. I also added complete theme keys.

I came up with a database of 101,092 games, but the website says that the original file has 101,031 games. The sequence of the games matters a lot because they are numbered in each CI issue according to ECO, which facilitates the study of a certain opening. (Note that the ECO codes used by Sahovski and ChessBase are not always the same.) The game number appears in the annotation - for instance, 59/54 means that this is game no. 54 from CI59, and 59/(54) means that this is a game fragment to complement the study of the same variation.

This is the Bible of modern chess. So, if someone can provide the real thing, please do it :)
