Complete construction operations - tree guards to protect birds from cats and rodents,and houses especially designed for the comfort of owls, ducks, wrens, swallows, woodpeckers, robins, martins, and many other bird species.

A complete program for providing birdbaths and watering stations, and complete plans for a decorative and useful concrete birdbath.

The ecological focus of the book is presented in the opening chapter. It discusses the inter-relationship of man, bird, and our environment, emphasizing and reinforcing man's responsibility to himself and to other living creatures. This is a book about birds-but it is also a book about people and love.

Special sections describing the care of sick birds and the protection of birds from their natural enemies.

This is a very good manual scan of the original book but is probably not the best for printing out in its entirety, however individual plans can certainly be printed and worked from.
