When Goldy Schulz is offered a stint hosting a cooking show for PBS, she jumps at the chance. Her catering business is failing, and the publicity will help her get back on track. Then, Doug Portman, her ex-boyfriend and new owner of her husband's treasured war memorabilia is killed in a bizarre skiing accident, and she finds the body. As the plot thickens, more questions than answers arise. Was the accident foul play? Was Doug connected to ex-cons? When a series of mishaps places Goldy's life in danger, she knows she must whip up her own crime-solving recipe before a hearty dose of intrigue and a deadly dash of danger ends her cooking career once and for all.
