Torrent description

This is a collection of virtually every Nintendo Entertainment System game release in the United States. The majority are verified good dumps, and there is generally only one version of each. I have excluded bad dumps, overdumps, alternate/older versions, and most hacked, cracked, trained, fixed, or pirated (read: inferior or buggy bootlegs) versions.

After an automatic removal of such ROMs, I manually removed unlabeled hacks like "Super Mario World 6" or "Pokémon Golden". The collection is intended to only include officially released games. If you find any hacks, please let me know and I may upload an updated version in the future.

In addition to the 680 ROMs, I have included a script to remove tags (a.k.a. GoodCodes). If you don't like tags in the filenames, simply Google a program called "WildRename" and load the file "Erase Tags.xml" included in the torrent.

I archived the files in RAR format, so you'll need the freeware program WinRAR to extract the data. This is a fairly common archive format, so this likely won't be the last time you'll need WinRAR. As for emulation, I recommend any of those in the Nester family. Personally, I use "NNNesterJ".
