Story

One thousand years prior to when the game takes place, a huge comet from outer
space smashes into the planet and creates a world unlivable, with smoke-covered
skies, great floods, and a tilted axis, destroying the world as time passed.
Astro Winter ruled the planet for decades. However, survivors of the great
catastrophy make a grand discovery, as from the core of the comet comes a new
source of energy, called Lens. Out of this Lens, humankind begins to build
cities in the sky, called an Aeropolis. Only one was fully created, however. It
was called Dycroft.

Dycroft was built in a timespan of one year and only certain members of
humanity were allowed to live amongst the elite populous of the floating city.
Many more could have went to the Aeropolis, and alas, many died in attempts to
get there. The Aethereans, or people who live on the Dycroft, came to rule over
those living on the planet still, called E'rthers. For many years, the
Aethereans ruled the E'rthers with an iron fist, having a great advantage over
the Earth-dwelling people, as the powerful weapon of total destruction,
Belcrant, was in the Aetherean's hands.

However, when the scientist team who developed Belcrant began to despise the
harsh rule of the Aetherean people, they left the Aeropolis to go live amongst
the E'rthers and help them to win a war they couldn't win otherwise. The
scientists developed living, thinking, intelligent swords for the best warriors
to use, called Swordians. The great war for humanity, called the Aeth'er Wars,
were underway.

The Aeropolis fleet of the Aetherean's were destroyed by the hands of the
Swordian Masters, warriors who could harness the powerful ability of the
Swordian. After the victory, the Swordians went into a stasis sleep, as there
were no need for their great ability anymore.

People started to forget about the planet's turbulant past. However, a sto-away
on a flying ship is soon to make a discovery that will change the course of the
planet once more. Stahn Aileron is about to wake up a Swordian, and the planet
is about to go into a turbulant time once more
