Midnight Rescue (1989)
Midnight Rescue is a reading-themed educational game for people aged 7-14. You take the role of Super Solver, an investigator, who is trying to stop the evil Mortimer Maxwell (the Master of Mischief). You collect details about robots that the Master of Mischief is hiding in by reading and answering questions and can take pictures of paintbrush robots as you see them in the hallways, you can see and analyze details that will help you in your quest. Midnight Rescue is an original, creative and fun game that people of all ages can enjoy.
After being foiled in the previous game Midnight Rescue, the Master of Mischief (Mortimer Maxwell) now plots to overthrow the Shady Glen television station. This game is essentially Midnight Rescue with some improvements and a new math theme. In each room in the television station, you will encounter math problems
Challenge of the Ancient Empires (1990)
This game takes you into an ancient world in different parts of the globe - Greece & Rome, Near East, India & China and Egypt. Many centuries ago, a band of pirates hid important treasures of the ancient world in caverns beneath a desert. You must work your way through these 4 caverns, and then complete the Ultimate Challenge. Each world has obstacles that you must overcome by using logic, from conveyor belts, coded panels, sliding panels, to reflecting triangles. After you find the artifact pieces required in each chamber, you must solve a puzzle and then walk through the passageway to the next chamber.
Treasure Mountain (1989)
In Treasure Mountain, you must use your mathematical, scientific and general logic to foil the Master of Mischief's plans. You must capture elves to get the clues, then get the treasures, find the key to unlock the next level.
Treasure Mathstorm (1992)
After being defeated at the Treasure Mountain, the Master of Mischief decided that a change was in order. The change was the weather! He covered the mountain in snow with a weather machine and froze the throne he couldn't access in the last game. The result? All the machines on the mountain went haywire. You have to gather treasures, help repair the machines and melt the mountain - using math.
Gizmos and Gadgets (1993)
Gizmos & Gadgets is an educational science computer game designed by The Learning Company. It is intended to teach children between the ages of 7 and 12 introductory mechanics, namely simple machines, magnets, basic electronics, and forms of energy. The object of the game is to win 15 races in different vehicles against Morty Maxwell at the Shady Glen Technology Center. This is done by moving the Super Solver around a series of warehouses to collect vehicle parts by solving puzzles involving principles of physics. There are 15 races; 5 races in each of 3 categories, automobile, alternative energy car, and aircraft. The races get progressively harder and the vehicles more complex as the player nears the fifth race in each category.
