In this three-issue mini-series, Brad Mick and Pat Lee retell the events of the original PlayStation 2 game with the added benefit of Lee's extraordinary digitally painted artwork. Little details and tidbits that weren't possible to reveal in the videogame will further enhance the truth behind Dante's past, and expand upon his mythos.

Devil May Cry is a hack and slash action game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Capcom in 2001 for the PlayStation 2.

Set in modern times on the fictional Mallet Island, the story centers on the characters Dante and Trish and their quest to confront the demon lord Mundus.
