Torrent description

DC Comics Chronology - Post-Zero Hour Pack 43
featuring DC titles published between December 1998 and January 1999

We ring in the new year with a treat: for the first time in two years, we have the launch of an series which survives to this day as Birds of Prey finally spin into their own ongoing title.

JLA/Titans begins a three-issue run, and Batman gets real busy on the Elseworlds front as 1999 ensues. John Byrne's four-issue Superman/Batman: Generations kicks off, and the final chapter in the Vampire trilogy is released in the Batman: Crimson Mist hardcover. (I think I mistakenly said Red Rain was the final chapter when I posted that pack; ignore my senility.) And DC teams with Dark Horse yet again, this time for the two-part Batman/Hellboy/Starman. Vertigo starts two four-issue minis; The Girl Who Would Be Death spins off from Sandman, and a large cast of creators re-secures a dusty old trademark by producing Heart Throbs.

We have two included trade paperbacks for which the original issues weren't available: JLA: World Without Grownups and Batman: Thrillkiller. And the venerable Action Comics celebrates the release of issue #750.
