featuring DC titles published between February 1997 and April 1997

Once more into the breach, as John Byrne takes on the task of trying to make Jack Kirby\'s Fourth World sell. It doesn\'t, and ends after 20 issues. The animation-based Adventures in the DC Universe fares no better, lasting only 19.

At least with mini-series, you know they\'re supposed to end soon. DC and Dark Horse team up yet again for the two-part Batman/Aliens. The three-issue Batman/Wildcat was released as well. Vertigo launched the three-part Books of Faerie, while Helix debuted a six-issue series, Brainbanx.

On the cancellation front, Milestone\'s Static #45 has a \"next issue\" blurb on the closing text page, which even has the cover art for the next issue. There wouldn\'t be one, indicating just how sudden the demise of Milestone was. Vertigo\'s Seekers into the Mystery also ends, with issue #15.
