We all know digg claims to a place where news stories and websites that are submitted by users can be promoted to the front page via a user page ranking system known as a “digg”

However stories with small amounts of diggs continue to make the front page while truth, freedom and liberty stories with a super high number of diggs rank below front page stories by the digg brigade.

Digg began as an experiment in November 2004 by Kevin Rose, Owen Byrne, Ron Gorodetzky, and Jay Adelson. All currently play an active role in the management of the site. There is also an internet show called Diggnation hosted by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. Its main purpose is to discuss the top stories from Digg.
