We didn't want to give you anything but the very best from the Julie Andrews Broadway CD (Julie Andrews sings Richard Rogers) and many tunes are only known to esoteric taste oriented folks in America perhaps. (We even selected a clip from the Waltz carousel medley rather than all segments involved).
That said, we have a lovely "its a grand night for singing" segment along with "Ive found me a wonderful guy" in the medley clip I refer to above.
We have a great "Sound of music" rendition done in a studio so its different now from when it was first heard from the greatest of all such movies back then. Same for "Edelweiss". Finally we include "If I loved you"
Please enjoy this great talent from the worlds most wonderful mother figure
to all of us that grew up with her singing to us (I first saw "the sound of music" while at a British expatriate boarding school and it was the most formative experience of my entire growing up I would have to say. Thank you Ms. Andrews. Muchly appreciated by your eternal fans everywhere on the planet, and most especially in Europe certainly and Germany Im certain as that is where you are essentially gifted to us from originally however far the facts are to be traced in this regard .
