This is John Harland's amazing book The Life and Crucifixion of Julian and The Threat of Group-Entities (1994) which presents a story of an alternative Jesus (Julian) and explains how the one-minded group-entitites have always been a threat to thinking individuals. The story of Jesus, which has been spread world-wide by coercive persuasion, has overshadowed and almost obliterated the story of Julian. But for some, the life and crucifixion of Julian continues to have significance. The Threat of Group-Entities looks at the problem of word-controlled group-entities that concerned Julian from a broad historical perspective, and examines today's possibility for a solution. Being two booklets in one the stories attempt to show how religious systems always persecute individuals against their own will since they challenge their dogmatic beliefs. The battle against the authority is a part of our everyday life as it attempts to establish an overall consensus on the society as a whole, usually resulting in even more unhappines than before. 90 pages. A must read for everyone.
