Keith Carradine (Nashville, dead Man's Walk, McCabe And Mrs. Miller) stars as Dan Scott, an American trapped behind the Iron Curtain. In the tradition of Doctor Zhivago, this sweeping, gripping epic tells the tale of Dan Scott, a wily and charismatic showman from America who finds a renewed career in Europe at the dawn of World War II, only to find himself trapped betwen the encroaching German and Russian forces. In the middle of the danger and the chaos, he finds Deborah (Mia Kirshner, Mad City, The Crow: City Of Angels), a beautiful young woman. They fall in love, but their time together is all too short, torn apart by the war. An Iron Curtain falls between them and Scott finds himself literally an American lost--trapped inside the ruthless Russian empire. Now separated from his love and from his freedom, Scott decides to stop at nothing to escape. His singular goal, his mission, is to get out--to get out alive--and be reunited with his love and get back to America.
