What is it about?

In 2009, the Super Space Fortress Macross is slowly heading back to Earth after fleeing from a surprise attack by an alien armada. On board the space fortress, three young people, a Valkyrie jet fighter pilot: Hikaru Ichijo, a pop star: Lynn Minmay and a UN Spacy officer: Misa Hayase find their lives inextricably linked to surviving a war amongst two races of gigantic aliens named the Bionoids.

Editing Comments:

• Remastered DYRL and Flashback 2012 DVD video were used for this edit
• The Bodolzaa fortress video glitch of a 12 frame jump fixed
* English subtitles were edited by Gubaba with a few additions and changes by me
• New English movie title scene
• New ending credit sequence was made from from the remastered Macross 2012: Flashback video and Macross soundtrack

• A lot of audio editing was done to get the timing just right for the english dub soundtrack.
* The original Macross soundtracks were also used to supplement the english dub soundtrack
* The Japanese soundtrack was taken from the DYRL theatrical movie version because the remastered DYRL audio soundtrack contained many audio pops
• Stereo japanese audio from the SDF Macross: DYRL was used as a separate audio track and to supplement the english audio track
* DAPDX english commentary is a patch work of Soundsoap2 filtered english commentary audio, unfiltered english commentary audio, DYRL theatrical audio and Macross CD soundtracks. I had to patch back in unfiltered commentary due to Soundsoap2 filtering out too much when commentators were speaking quietly.

After finishing version 4 of Super Dimension Fortress: More Macross Loving, I thought it was about time that somebody put together the english dub with the new remastered dvd video. It took a lot longer than I thought, but here it is.
