This Is The Third Of My Uploads That Aren't Mixes I've Made. I Am Not Sure How Interested People Are In My Mixes And I Want To Share Something With The Community Since That's What It's All About Isn't It? I Don't Claim That The Music I Post Is Something That's So Great That People Should Hoist Me Up On Their Shoulders And Scream Praises To Me. I Do Claim That It's Something I Like For One Reason Or Another And Have Never Seen It Posted On Any Of The Many Torrent Sites I Frequent. For That Reason Alone And The Likin It Thing My Choices Will Be Varied. Nobody Needs Another Posting Of Some Album Thats Been Posted 50 Times Before. So I Hope It Doesn't Happen To What I Post. Also I Am A Werdy Nerdy So Sadly There Will Be Some Personal Story About Me And My Connection To The Album. Sure I Would Like You To Read It But You Can Always Skip It And Download Away. So Let's Get To It. "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" Everybody Seen It, Everybody Knows It, Yet Nobody Has Uploaded It... Strange. Now I Fixed That Problem For Anybody Who Wanted It. My Story Is Basically This: In The Summer Of 1982, While Driving On The I-15 To The First US Festival In Glen Helen Regional Park, KROQ Was On And Jed The Fish Started Talking About The Movie And The Soundtrack. He Said All The Songs On The Soundtrack Were New And Were Only Available On The Soundtrack. (That Has Since Changed On Quite A Few Of Them) Jed Then Played "Billy Squier - Fast Times (The Best Years Of Our Lives)". We Got Back From The 3 Day Concert And Went And Saw The Flick That First Night Home. I Personally Like The Movie And Like Seeing Places I Know In Movies. I've Seen It A Few Times Since Of Course. So If You Know The Movie Fairly Well, Then You'll Get A Good Movie Feel When You Listen To The Soundtrack. I Liked It Enough To Replace My Old Cassette With The CD Years Ago. Hope It Scratches Someone's Itch And I Look Forward To My Next Post Of A Quirky Or Jerky Album And Writing One Of My Bla Bla Bloggish Descriptions.
